Partnership Plans

Three ways to work with us, from a single consultation to four full years of partnership.

Why families come to us

Getting in is only the beginning.

Getting in can take years: the grades, the tests, the activities, often an admissions consultant guiding it all. Then, on May 1st, that help ends, and four more years begin without a guide.

That is the hard part. Not only that things sometimes go wrong, but that it’s hard to know which moments matter. A dropped class, a major change, a study abroad option that seems out of reach. Some are nothing. Some quietly cost a term. Knowing which is a specialist’s job, and most families would rather it were handled by someone that knows.

Thrive picks up where admissions consultants leave off. We work with a small number of families across all four years, so the decisions that shape the degree get made with the whole picture in view, and you never have to guess whether something mattered.

What we don’t do

To stay focused on what we do well, we refer out anything beyond academic navigation.

The following are outside our scope. If you need one of these, we’re happy to refer you to a trusted colleague:

  • Subject tutoring or writing coaching
  • College admissions consulting. We work beautifully with admissions consultants, and often take the handoff at acceptance.
  • Mental health counseling or therapy
  • Legal advocacy or disability accommodations
  • Financial planning, tax, or investment advice
  • Career coaching or job placement
Frequently asked

Questions families ask us.

College advisors manage caseloads of 300 to 800 students. Their time with your student is measured in minutes per term. We work with a deliberately small number of families so we can be genuinely available, and we hold a comprehensive view of your student’s plan that a college advisor isn’t positioned to hold.

Any four-year institution. Our service is virtual and our expertise is academic planning, not institution-specific. We’ve guided students through dozens of public and private universities across the country.

Start a Discovery Inquiry. We’ll learn about your student and help you decide which plan is the right fit. The call is 30 minutes via Google Meet, and there’s no fee.

Life happens. Our engagement letter addresses pause, transfer, and withdrawal situations with clarity. We’ll walk through it before you sign anything.

Yes. Payment plans are available for every tier, and we’ll work out what fits your family during your initial conversation.

If this resonates, let’s talk.

Every family starts with a short Discovery Inquiry, so we come to the conversation already understanding your student. From there we’ll schedule a 30-minute call. There’s no fee, and no expectation that you’ll move forward.
