Thrive College Partners LLC collects personal information from parents, guardians, and students to provide post-admission academic advising services, operate its website, communicate with families, process payments, maintain business records, and comply with legal obligations. The categories of personal information Thrive may collect include names, email addresses, phone numbers, mailing addresses, student college or university information, academic year, academic records voluntarily shared by the student or family, degree audits, transcripts, course plans, registration information, scholarship or financial aid correspondence, signed engagement documents, student authorizations, communication preferences, billing records, payment status, refund and cancellation records, emails, text messages, session notes, written summaries, and related advising records.
Thrive may also collect limited website and device information when you visit its website, including IP address, general location derived from IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages visited, and the date and time of the visit. Thrive uses this information to operate the website, maintain security, troubleshoot technical issues, and understand general usage patterns. Thrive does not use this information for behavioral advertising or profiling.
Thrive may collect limited sensitive personal information when necessary to provide services or administer the engagement, such as a student’s date of birth to verify capacity, payment-related information processed by third-party payment processors, and sensitive student disclosures voluntarily shared during the engagement. Thrive uses sensitive personal information only to provide requested services, verify capacity, process payments, follow student communication preferences, address safety concerns, maintain records, or comply with legal obligations. Thrive does not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics for unrelated purposes.
Thrive does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Thrive discloses personal information only as needed to provide services, process payments, operate the business, communicate with families, comply with legal obligations, protect safety, or work with service providers under appropriate confidentiality obligations. Thrive does not store full payment card numbers or full bank account numbers; payment information is processed by Thrive’s payment processor.
Thrive generally retains active client records, advising records, signed agreements, student authorizations, communications, and related service records during the engagement. Tax, accounting, billing, and payment records are retained as required by law and standard business recordkeeping practices. When information is no longer needed, Thrive deletes or anonymizes it where reasonably appropriate.
